Great experience here for my first time. The food was great and full of flavor. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. I have never felt so welcomed at a restaurant.
My husband is 92 and is on a salt- restricted diet! The chef customizes his orders allowing him to have Chinese food at 92 years young! My husband can gain several pounds of fluid in one day which can be very unhealthy! Service is thoughtful and accommodating for all! Thank you Wa -Me restaurant! Ask for Jennifer!
It's been at least 5 years since I ate at Wa-Me. My return was a pleasant surprise. I ordered take out House Special Beef, Sesame Chicken, Pork Fried Rice & Tomato Beef Chow Mein. All four dishes were very good, with the House Special Beef the best of the four. Based on these dishes I would rate this restaurant above average with reasonable pricing.
Hard working and quick with the food greeted well, the food is really good (Szechuan beef "lunch"). This place is really good if you got the time for it.
I ordered online because I was craving Chinese food, and decided to try Wa-Me Chinese Restaurant, which is just five minutes from my house. It's a great local spot. I ordered several appetizers and a few main dishes for the two of us. Everything was excellent, and I highly recommend giving this place a try and supporting local businesses.
The experience was really great overall, I cannot suggest this local business any more than I am now. The interior was very formal yet inviting, and our waitress was incredibly nice, very patient and cheerful. But the food of course was even more delightfully. The Prawn with Snow Peas with Pork Fried Rice was well cooked; the oil used really gave the dish a nice zest to it. And for my mother, the Pork with Bean Sprout Lunch went really with the Wa-Me Chow Mein; the noodles were nice and chewy, and the pork was delicious with the sprouts. I'd certainly recommend this place for anyone close by who'd like some good filling meals for lunch, or even dinner too.
